A bit about me.

Hi, I’m Shannon. I am so happy you’re here!

I’m a self-proclaimed homebody + have a deep love for creating a beautiful home. I learned from my mom that home should encourage togetherness, comfort + gathering. Whether it was curating the perfect a living room, putting together a gorgeous bouquet from grocery store flowers or making a delicious meal… she taught me.

In 2021 my husband Nathan and I were living in downtown Philly, but realized we are far from city people. So we had the crazy (or genius?) idea to buy our vacation home first. We packed our bags + moved from the city out to a small lake town in Western Maryland. We spent two years living at the lake + renovating the house to make it feel like home. Now we rent out the property for amazing renters to enjoy.

These days we live in Virginia + are renovating our classic 2000’s colonial. After a recent vacation to the South of France, I felt inspired to make the space feel like a transitional French cottage. Follow along to see all of the progress!
