One Room Challenge Spring 2022 | Week 2

Within the last two weeks, we bought our first house and got engaged! So forgive me for missing Week 1. But I’m here + excited to be participating in the Spring 2022 One Room Challenge!

I’ve been watching the One Room Challenge transformations for years but have never participated. I’m so excited to finally transform a room of my own. We have a lot of rooms that need updating in our new home, but we settled on revamping the Great Room! This is the main room on the first floor of our house + where we will spend most of our time. I can’t wait to update and make it more us. Here are some of the before photos...

Some of the projects we plan to tackle: 

• Paint the walls Pure White by Sherwin Williams

• Remove the textured ceilings

• Redo the fireplace

• Mount the TV above the fireplace

• Replace all the furniture

I can’t wait to take you along as we make this room a beautiful gathering space + the focal point of our home!
